COVID-19 Update

The Ada Arts Council (AAC) has been closely monitoring local, state, and national government restrictions to slow the spread of COVID-19 (coronavirus). Public health and safety are our top priority as we continue to look towards the remainder of this year. We plan to comply with all government guidance and demonstrate an abundance of caution while also doing our best to continue access to arts, cultural content, and experiences that have become essential to help us cope during these unprecedented times.

At this time, none of our regularly scheduled events have been cancelled or rescheduled, but we continue to monitor and assess the situation for each event. Some of our events will continue but on new platforms and with innovative interaction methods. Our first development will be in November 2020 with our virtual Member Art Show, an online exhibit space for our members to display their current works and provide a room for response to the present world situation.

Monthly board member meetings continue via-teleconference and have begun planning activities and events for all to participate in while practicing safe social distancing. We look forward to sharing more information in our yearly membership newsletter that will be distributed to all council members in August 2020. The Ada Arts Council will continue to provide updates as the situation evolves. Information is available at and our social media channels. We would also like to offer our sincerest thanks and appreciation for all front-line healthcare workers that are keeping us all safe right now.
